Terms of Service

By accessing or using BD Social Insights, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not access or use the service. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

BD Social Insights is a social media analytics and reporting tool operated by B&D Air Compressor for accounts that users are authorized to connect. It helps users review account and public video performance and prepare internal analytics and operational reports.

You may connect and analyze only:

• An account that you own; or
• An account that you have lawful permission and authority to manage.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service and any connected account complies with applicable laws, platform rules and agreements with the account owner.

TikTok connections use TikTok's official authorization mechanisms. You must review and approve the requested permissions through TikTok. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own account and for promptly revoking access if authorization should no longer continue.

Subject to these terms, you may use BD Social Insights for:

• Analytics and reporting.
• Account and content performance monitoring.
• Content performance comparison and strategy evaluation.
• Other lawful internal analysis of an authorized account.

You must not use BD Social Insights to:

• Access an account or information without authorization.
• Circumvent platform permissions, technical controls, rate limits or security measures.
• Collect, use or disclose data unlawfully.
• Obtain, expose, transfer or misuse API credentials, access tokens or other authentication information.
• Infringe privacy, intellectual property or other third-party rights.
• Interfere with or damage the service, TikTok or any connected system.

TikTok functionality depends on TikTok's APIs, authorization systems and other services. API availability, data fields, permissions, quotas, review requirements and functionality may change at any time. Your use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok's own terms, policies and platform rules.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of BD Social Insights when reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanent access, including where availability is affected by TikTok, network services, maintenance, security events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Our processing of information in connection with BD Social Insights is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having any notices, permissions and lawful basis required for information you make available through an authorized account.

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, an account connection is unauthorized, continued access presents a legal or security risk, a third-party platform requires action, or the service is discontinued. You may stop using the service and revoke TikTok authorization at any time.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BD Social Insights is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Analytics and reports are informational and may be affected by source-data availability, delays, API changes or processing limitations. We do not warrant that all information will be complete, current or error-free, and the service does not replace your independent business judgment.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, B&D will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising from or related to BD Social Insights. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, platform requirements, legal obligations or our practices. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of BD Social Insights after an update means the revised terms apply to that use.
