Privacy Policy

BD Social Insights is a social media analytics tool operated by B&D Air Compressor. It helps authorized users analyze account and video performance and prepare internal analytics and operational reports.

After a TikTok user gives explicit authorization through OAuth, and subject to the permissions granted and the information made available by TikTok's API, we may process:

• Basic profile information, including display name and open identifier or account identifier.
• Account metrics, including follower count, following count, total likes count and video count.
• Authorized public video information, including video ID, title or description, publish time and video URL.
• Authorized public video performance metrics, including view count, like count, comment count and share count.

The specific information available may vary based on TikTok's API, the authorization scope and platform changes.

Access to a TikTok account requires the account user's explicit authorization. BD Social Insights does not ask users to provide their TikTok password. Authentication is handled through TikTok's official authorization process, where users can review the requested permissions.

Authorized information is used only as reasonably necessary for:

• Analytics and performance monitoring.
• Internal reporting.
• Content performance comparison.
• Authorized account management analytics.

The current functionality is not used to publish content without authorization.

We do not sell the information processed through BD Social Insights, and we do not share it with advertisers for their independent advertising use. Limited information may be processed by infrastructure or service providers where technically necessary to operate, secure or support the service. Such providers are expected to process information only for those service purposes and subject to appropriate safeguards.

We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety and security of users, B&D or others.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

OAuth access credentials are handled only as needed to establish and maintain authorized API access. Access tokens and related credentials should be stored securely, access-restricted and protected from unauthorized disclosure or misuse.

We retain authorized information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide analytics and reporting, maintain security, meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Retention periods may vary based on the information and the purpose for which it is processed.

Users may revoke BD Social Insights' access through their TikTok account settings or other authorization controls made available by TikTok. To request deletion of information associated with an authorized account, email us at liaoruining@bdcompressor.com. We may need to verify the requester's identity or authority before completing a request.

TikTok is a third-party platform. Use of TikTok and its authorization, APIs and related services is also subject to TikTok's own terms, privacy policies and platform rules. B&D does not control TikTok's services or privacy practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to BD Social Insights, platform requirements, legal obligations or our practices. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised policy.
